Lot 205: A Novelty 925 Sterling Silver Penguin Pin Cushion

A novelty miniature pin cushion in the form of a standing penguin. The piece is cast with a textured surface throughout to represent feathers and features a decorative bow tie at the throat. The belly of the penguin is inset with a circular purple velvet cushion pad for the storage of pins. The metal displays an aged, darkened patina in the recessed areas of the casting.
