Lot 206: A Mahogany-Veneered Beehive Mantel Clock with Winding Key

A mantel clock featuring a mahogany-veneered case of beehive form with a stepped, wavy-edge plinth base. The circular metal dial is set within a hinged metal bezel with convex glass, featuring printed black Arabic numerals and a rail-track minute ring. The clock is fitted with black-finished metal hands, including a spade-shaped hour hand. A single winding arbor is positioned between the four and five o’clock numerals. The rear of the case is fitted with a hinged wooden door, opening to reveal a brass mechanical movement.
