Lot 162: A Polish Zorza Art Glass Vase with Ruffled Rim
Not sold
A hand-blown art glass vase featuring a flared and undulating ruffled rim. The vessel is constructed with a dual-layer casing technique, comprising an opaque white interior and a translucent blue exterior. The exterior surface is decorated with a marbled effect featuring dark blue veining and integrated bullicante controlled bubble patterns throughout the body. The form tapers from the wide, fluted mouth to a circular polished base. The underside of the base bears a circular adhesive label with a central bird graphic, possibly a heron, featuring the text HANDMADE around the top arc, ZORZA to the left, and MADE IN POLAND around the bottom. No other maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
