Lot 192: UK The Tower Mint Nickel Silver Commemorative Rounds

This lot comprises two commemorative rounds struck by The Tower Mint, London. Each round is housed in a hard-shell presentation case with a velvet-lined interior. The first round is contained in a green case featuring a satin lining with the printed inscription EXCLUSIVE EDITION AUDLEY END HOUSE THE TOWER MINT 55 ROYAL MINT STREET LONDON SOLID NICKEL SILVER. The obverse of this round depicts the facade of Audley End House with the legend AUDLEY END HOUSE struck along the upper margins. The second round is presented in a navy blue case and features an obverse design depicting the facade of Osborne House with the legend OSBORNE HOUSE. Both rounds are struck in nickel silver as evidenced by the printed case inscription. The rounds exhibit mirrored fields and frosted relief devices. The reverse designs and edges are not visible within the current presentation.
