Lot 572: A Pair of CIL N Scale Electric Locomotive Display Models

This lot comprises two N-scale electric locomotive display models, each mounted on a section of black plastic display track. The first is a grey and silver locomotive with a red front panel, featuring plastic pantographs and metal wheels. The side is marked with a red and white logo and the characters SNCF, alongside the number 22387. The second is a red locomotive of a segmented design, featuring red plastic pantographs and grey metal wheels, marked on the side with the characters OBB and the number 1020.43. Both locomotives are constructed with plastic bodies and chassis. The underside of each chassis is embossed with a circular mark containing the characters CIL, followed by N SCALE 1:160. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
Both models appear to be in good display condition with all major components intact. The silver and grey locomotive shows minor factory overspray and light surface scuffing to the silver finish (photo 1). The red locomotive pantographs are static, and there is a small area of white residue or surface wear at one end of the red body (photo 3). Both models exhibit minor surface dust and small paint imperfections consistent with display. No original packaging or boxes are present.
