Lot 44: A Metal Wall Clock, Designed as an Oversized Pocket Watch
A metal wall clock, designed in the form of an oversized pocket watch. The circular case is constructed from polished metal and features a large suspension loop and decorative winding and plunger mechanisms to the top. The off-white dial is set behind a clear cover and displays black Roman numerals, with the number four presented as IIII. The dial is decorated with a black scrollwork emblem featuring a central cross motif above the arbor. Two decorative black spade and whip style hands indicate the time. The dial is printed with the word PARIS in a black serif font. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The clock shows signs of use and surface wear. There are visible scratches and scuffs across the polished metal bezel and the clear dial cover (photo 1). A small amount of dust and debris is trapped behind the dial cover. The movement has not been tested and the functional status is unknown.
