Lot 127: UK 1992 Silver Proof Piedfort Ten Pence Coin
A UK 1992 silver proof piedfort ten pence coin. The reverse features a crowned lion passant guardant above the numeral 10, with the legend TEN PENCE inscribed above. The coin is presented in a square green case with a white interior lid featuring a printed black emblem of a portcullis, a crown, and a rose above a shield quartered with the arms of the United Kingdom, underlined by the words ROYAL MINT in a banner. The lot includes a cream-coloured card Certificate of Authenticity printed with 1992 SILVER PROOF PIEDFORT TEN PENCE COIN and the ROYAL MINT crest. The certificate states the coin is struck in .925 sterling silver.
