Lot 328: A Birra Moretti Promotional Patio Parasol with White Pole
A promotional patio parasol featuring a red fabric canopy and a white-coated two-part metal pole. The canopy is designed with a scalloped edge and white trim, featuring printed brewery branding on multiple panels. The printed graphics include the text BIRRA MORETTI and L’AUTENTICA in white lettering, accompanied by the legend DAL 1859. The central logo depicts a mustached man in a hat consuming a beverage from a glass, surrounded by wheat ear motifs, with the word DRINK. appearing near the lower hem. The support structure comprises a white-coated metal pole with a tapered plastic finial at the apex. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The parasol shows signs of extensive outdoor use and storage. The red fabric canopy displays significant surface soiling, dark grey scuff marks, and ingrained dirt, most notably within the folds and along the edges (photo 2). The white-coated metal pole exhibits numerous scuffs, scratches, and black transfer marks throughout its length (photo 1). The internal ribbing and opening mechanism have not been tested for functionality.
