Lot 93: UK 1977 Elizabeth II Sterling Silver Crown Coin
A UK 1977 commemorative sterling silver crown coin, issued by the Royal Mint to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II. The obverse features an equestrian portrait of the Queen with the circumscribed legend ELIZABETH II DG REG FD 1977. The coin is housed in a clear plastic capsule within a blue presentation box featuring a red velvet-lined interior and an inset Royal Mint logo. Accompanying the coin is a printed certificate of authenticity which bears the logo and text ROYAL MINT. The certificate states the coin is struck in sterling silver.
