Lot 172: .999 Fine Copper Indian Head Buffalo 1 oz Bullion Round
A bullion round struck in proved .999 fine copper, featuring designs inspired by the US Indian Head nickel. The obverse presents a right-facing profile portrait of a Native American man with feathers in his hair and a braided cord. The legend LIBERTY is struck along the upper right rim. The reverse depicts an American bison standing on a mound, facing left. The upper rim is struck with the legend .999 FINE COPPER and the lower rim is struck ONE AVDP OZ. The round features a reeded edge and a brilliant uncirculated-style finish with high copper lustre. No maker’s marks or mint marks are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The round displays high copper lustre with no evidence of circulation. The obverse shows minor surface contact marks and fine bag marks consistent with bulk handling (photo 1). The reverse exhibits similar light surface marking and small points of contact (photo 2). No significant tarnish or environmental damage is visible. The item is supplied without a protective capsule.
