A Mid-20th Century glass vessel of large proportions, featuring a deep cobalt blue bowl on a clear glass stem and base. The bowl is of oversized snifter form with a slightly irregular, fire-polished rim and walls that taper gently towards the top. It is joined to the foot by a hand-tooled clear glass stem incorporating a central swirled or twisted knop. The piece is supported by a broad, circular clear glass foot. A white rectangular adhesive label is present on the underside of the base, featuring a black-and-white pixelated pattern and several lines of printed characters which are not legible. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The vessel appears in good overall condition. A small dark inclusion or surface mark is visible on the right side of the blue bowl. The underside of the base exhibits minor shelf wear. No chips, cracks, or significant surface scratches are visible.
