A bowl, of flared conical form, featuring a vibrant cobalt blue colour. The piece is constructed with a thick-walled body and a smooth interior. The exterior is decorated with a repeating textured pattern of large circular indentations in a honeycomb arrangement. The upper rim is finished with an undulating scalloped edge. The base is smooth and lacks a pontil mark. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The bowl is in excellent condition with no visible signs of damage or significant wear. There are no chips or nicks to the scalloped rim (photo 1). The body is free from cracks or internal fracturing. The surface maintains a high degree of clarity and gloss, with no visible clouding or heavy scratching (photo 3).
