A blue glass bottle and matching stopper, featuring a continuous spiral ribbed motif. The bottle is of slender, elongated form, tapering from a bulbous, rounded base into a narrow, spiralled neck. The neck terminates in a smooth, cylindrical rim. The accompanying stopper is designed in a matching tapered, shell-like spiral form, fitted with a clear plastic gasket at the base of the peg. The piece is constructed from mould-blown glass. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The bottle and stopper appear to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or significant surface scratches are visible on the main body of the bottle or the neck (photo 1). The stopper glass is intact with no visible losses to the spiral edges or the tapered tip (photo 2, 3). The contemporary plastic gasket remains functional and secure (photo 3). The interior of the vessel appears clear and free from significant staining or residue (photo 4).
