A novelty banknote constructed from a textured gold-coloured foil, mimicking the design of a US one hundred dollar bill. The obverse features a central illustration of the character Winnie the Pooh, alongside a red logo reading WINNIE THE POOH. Struck legends include FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. The note displays the serial number GOLD 999999 in two positions and carries the series designation SERIES 2009 A. Facsimile signatures for TIMOTHY F. GEITHNER and ROSA GUMATAOTAO RIOS are printed on the lower half. The reverse depicts Winnie the Pooh with Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, and Roo, with vertical legends reading THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and WINNIE THE POOH. A small struck inscription reading 24K GOLD is present on the reverse. A further vertical inscription located to the right of the reverse vignette is not legible. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible.
Condition report:
The banknote is in uncirculated condition. No folds, creases, or handling marks are visible to the foil surface (photos 1, 2).
