This lot comprises multiple stamp albums and loose sheets focused on commemorative issues of the British Royal Family. Included is a blue binder with a printed legend reading THE ROYAL BABY OF T.R.H. THE PRINCE & PRINCESS OF WALES A SUPERB OFFICIAL FIRST DAY COVER COLLECTION. A white ring binder is titled 1952 ~ SILVER JUBILEE ~ 1977, containing perforated mint stamps from Barbuda overprinted on Antigua. Further items include a souvenir sheet from THE GRENADINES OF ST. VINCENT commemorating the ROYAL WEDDING, printed by THE HOUSE OF QUESTA, and a Kenyan 50c sheet depicting a treehouse with the legend FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD A YOUNG GIRL CLIMBED INTO TREETOPS ONE DAY A PRINCESS AND THE NEXT DAY SHE CAME DOWN A QUEEN. A black stock book contains stamps from BRUNEI, DOMINICA, and KYPROS. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of handling and storage. The blue binder exhibits wear to the corners and edges (photo 1). The tan album shows surface spotting and yellowing to the exterior (photo 1). The interior stamps appear to be well-preserved within mounts, stock pages, and glassine wrappers. The items are stored within a black plastic crate.
