A suitcase of rectangular form constructed from pressed fibre with a textured terracotta-coloured finish. The case is fitted with reinforced metal protective corners and two metal flip-lock latches with keyholes. A central rigid carrying handle in a matching colour is attached to the front panel. The interior is lined with cream and black checkered patterned paper and includes a central cream-coloured fabric securing strap. An adhesive black and gold rectangular label is applied to the interior lid, printed with the text PRESSED FIBRE above a central crest and MADE IN ENGLAND below. A smaller, partially torn and illegible label is located immediately above the main manufacturer’s label. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The suitcase shows signs of significant travel use and age. The exterior finish exhibits widespread scuffing and loss, particularly along the edges and corners (photo 1). A rectangular area of surface residue and peeling is visible on the front panel above the handle (photo 1). The metal latches and corner caps show surface oxidation, pitting, and light rust, with one bottom corner cap slightly bent away from the body (photo 1). The interior lining remains generally intact but displays light foxing, yellowing, and minor staining throughout (photo 2). A small tear is present in the lining paper to the left of the manufacturer\'s label (photo 2). Keys are not supplied.
