This lot comprises three Wedgwood light blue jasperware items featuring sprigged white relief decoration. The collection includes a circular commemorative plate with a central relief depiction of Marble Arch in London flanked by trees, bearing the legends CHRISTMAS, 1981, and MARBLE ARCH, and finished with a continuous holly leaf and berry border. The second piece is a cylindrical jardinière featuring a classical frieze of grape and vine garlands suspended from three lion-mask rings, with figures in classical attire positioned between the draped garlands and a floral border encircling the rim. The final item is a bud vase of ovoid form with a waisted neck, displaying three vignettes of classical figures separated by stylised foliate and scroll motifs, with a leaf and berry border at the neck. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items show no visible chips, cracks, or surface marks across the three pieces. The white relief work remains crisp and intact on the plate, jardinière, and vase. No repairs are evident.
