This lot comprises a collection of tableware and novelty items. The group includes a scalloped shell-form dish with a scroll wire stand; two mugs with flared bases and loop handles; three large spoons; and an assortment of decorative and souvenir spoons. One silver spoon bears hallmark punches for an anchor, a lion passant, the initials W.H.S, and a date letter U. A second spoon is impressed with the word SILVER. An enamelled souvenir spoon features a crest and the word NORWICH. A further spoon bears a portrait and the text H.R.H. PRINCESS OF WALES. A novelty vessel shaped as a golf bag includes embossed zip and strap detailing and contains a white plastic liner. The three large spoons are of a plain, polished pattern. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the other items in the lot.

Condition report:

The items show signs of environmental exposure and handling. Significant tarnish and oxidation are visible across all surfaces (photo 1). The golf bag vessel displays wear to the finish on the raised embossed areas (photo 2). The interior of the mugs shows light staining and surface scratches (photo 1). No original packaging or cases are supplied.
