A glass vase, featuring a bulbous onion-shaped base that tapers into a tall, slender neck. The neck terminates in a wide flared rim, with a single raised decorative ring located just below the flare. The lower section of the base is decorated with an internal speckled effect, comprising numerous small white and silvery inclusions. The body is a deep amethyst colour, appearing near-black where it is most thick. The base is ground flat. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The vase is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions. The rim and neck appear intact (photo 1). The internal speckling is a deliberate decorative feature (photo 2). The surface maintains a high gloss finish throughout.
