An electric fire basket of Gothic Revival design, comprising a central grate and two integrated side andirons. The unit is of metal construction with a black finish. The arched backplate displays three raised fleur-de-lis motifs against a hammered textured ground. The front grate consists of a rectangular cage with vertical bars and two central decorative scrolls. The flanking andirons feature twisted stems and fleur-de-lis finials above arched feet. A translucent orange simulated fuel block with vertical ventilation slots is housed within the cage. A small pull-out drawer with a circular ring handle is situated at the base for access to internal components. An electrical power cable extends from the rear. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The item shows signs of light surface wear and handling. Minor losses to the black finish and light oxidation are present on the interior bars of the grate (photo 2). General surface dust is visible throughout the unit (photo 1). The simulated fuel block and drawer appear to be intact. The electrical functionality has not been verified.
