A Silver Cross Special Edition travel system, featuring a black metal chassis, carrycot, and reversible pushchair seat unit. The chassis is constructed from black finished metal with plastic wheels and a bottom textile shopping basket. The handle is finished in a black composite material with a central metal plate. The carrycot and seat unit feature black textile exteriors with patterned beige and black textile accents depicting lion and elephant silhouettes. The central metal handle plate is inscribed with the text SILVER CROSS in a cursive script. The beige seat liner is embroidered with a lion and elephant motif above the printed text SILVER CROSS. A metallic label on the side of the chassis is printed with the text SPECIAL EDITION. The components included in this lot are the chassis, seat unit, carrycot with black apron, padded seat liner, matching hood, and a changing bag with a shoulder strap. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels other than those described are visible.
Condition report:
The travel system shows signs of wear and regular outdoor use. The black composite handle wrap shows significant peeling and loss of material to the left side (photo 2). The central metal plate on the handle is marked with numerous fine surface scratches (photo 1). The plastic wheels exhibit scuffs and wear to the treads (photo 3). The textile components appear generally clean with light creasing from use. The bumper bar and raincover are missing from the set. No original packaging or instructions are present.
