Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A 2024 British silver bullion coin, of circular form, struck in .999 fine silver with a face value of 20 pence. The obverse depicts the left-facing portrait of King Charles III, with the legend CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 20 PENCE and the initials MJ located below the truncation of the neck. The reverse features the standing figure of Britannia, holding a trident and a shield, against a background of radial lines. The reverse is inscribed BRITANNIA 2024 1/10 oz 999 FINE SILVER and bears the name NATHAN at the base of the design. The coin is of solid .999 fine silver construction. No other maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the item.

Condition report:
The coin shows signs of environmental exposure and significant handling. The obverse exhibits heavy dark toning and tarnishing across the fields and around the rim, with multiple fine surface scratches and contact marks visible on the portrait of King Charles III (photo 2). The reverse shows significant surface wear, numerous fine scratches across the Britannia figure and the background lines, and heavy tarnishing around the outer border and inscriptions (photo 1). No protective capsule or original packaging is present.
