A UK 2023 King Charles III Definitives Brilliant Uncirculated coin set, presented in its original card folder and outer sleeve. This set comprises eight coins representing the standard denominations of 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, and £2. The reverse designs for this new series highlight British wildlife and national emblems, featuring a dormouse (1p), red squirrel (2p), oak leaves and acorns (5p), capercaillie (10p), puffin (20p), Atlantic salmon (50p), bees (£1), and a floral arrangement of the rose, thistle, shamrock, and daffodil (£2). Each reverse design incorporates a background pattern of interlocking C characters. The obverse of each coin bears the definitive coinage portrait of King Charles III. The presentation packaging is printed with THE ROYAL MINT, THE ORIGINAL MAKER, KING CHARLES III DEFINITIVES, and 2023 UK BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN SET. No metal fineness stamps or hallmarks are present on the coins or the packaging.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition, with all eight pieces retaining full original mint lustre on both the obverse and reverse surfaces (Photo 1). There are no visible contact marks, toning, or signs of handling. The cream-coloured card presentation folder and the matching outer sleeve are in excellent condition, with no visible creasing, staining, or wear to the corners (Photo 1, 2). The set is complete in its original Royal Mint packaging.
