A UK crown coin, issued to commemorate a royal anniversary. The obverse depicts an equestrian portrait of the monarch, surrounded by the struck legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1977. The coin is presented in a blue paper ephemera folder issued by the ALLIANCE BUILDING SOCIETY, which features a central circular aperture to display the coin. The opening is framed by the printed white text H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE 1952/1977. A white logo at the base of the folder shows a house silhouette with an upward-pointing arrow and the printed text ALLIANCE BUILDING SOCIETY. The folder includes a white printed border line detail. No fineness marks or hallmarks are visible on the coin or its packaging.
Condition report:
The coin shows evidence of significant environmental toning, with dark tarnish present across the obverse field and legends. The reverse is not visible. The blue presentation folder shows shelf wear to the edges and corners, with a vertical crease on the left side.
