A 2026 Idaho Goldback negotiable instrument, of rectangular form, constructed from 24ct gold foil vacuum-deposited onto a thin polymer film. The obverse features a monochrome depiction of Justitia, blindfolded and holding scales, set against a mountainous landscape with a butterfly. Legible inscriptions on the face include IDAHO, GOLDBACK, NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT, JUSTITIA, and the phrase JUDGE RIGHTEOUSLY. A yellow panel at the base reads THIS GOLDBACK CONTAINS 1/4000TH TROY OUNCE 24K GOLD and PAYABLE BY GOLDBACK INC. IN US GOLD COIN TO BEARER ON DEMAND. The item is serialized AL66849 and marked α 2026. Small print to the upper left edge reads US PATENT 10781530 PROTECTED ISSUED NOT US DOLLAR LEGAL TENDER. The AURUM trademark is printed vertically on the left edge. The manufacturer GB logo and the web address GOLDBACK.COM are also visible. The denomination 1/4 and ONE FOURTH are repeated throughout the design. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the reverse.

Condition report:

The note is in uncirculated condition with no visible handling marks or defects. Both the obverse and reverse surfaces show a clean, high-lustre finish with no creases or edge damage (photo 1 and 2). The polymer film remains clear and intact. No protective capsule or packaging is present.
