The bar is of solid construction featuring a dark, granular-textured field which contrasts with the polished raised lettering and borders. The obverse is struck with the stylised brand name VALCAMBI SUISSE, the weight 1 G, the metal type FINE SILVER, and the fineness 999,0. At the base of the bar, a rectangular border encloses a circular mark containing the letters CHI alongside the legend ESSAYEUR FONDEUR. The reverse of the bar is plain with a consistent dark textured finish throughout. No individual serial number or additional maker’s marks are present on the item.

Condition report:
The bar exhibits light surface wear and minor contact marks to the raised silver lettering and perimeter edges. The textured dark field remains well-preserved and intact across both the obverse and reverse. No significant scratches, dents, or signs of environmental toning are visible.
