Buyer's Premium:

Two large-format commemorative silver rounds, each housed in a circular plastic capsule. The first round commemorates the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe, featuring a high-relief winged female figure holding a torch and laurel wreath, with text reading 1945, 2025, and VICTORY IN EUROPE. A small shield-shaped mark containing the letter S is visible to the left of the figure’s base. The second round commemorates the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, featuring a central Spitfire aircraft over a map of the British Isles, with text reading BATTLE OF BRITAIN and 85 YEARS. No silver fineness markings, such as .999, or spelled maker names are visible on the obverse or reverse of either round. The items are shown being weighed on a green Uniweigh digital scale alongside a cylindrical calibration weight.

Measurement:
Victory in Europe round gross weight (inclusive of capsule and calibration weight): 6.258 oz
Battle of Britain round gross weight (inclusive of capsule and calibration weight): 6.254 oz.

Condition report:

The protective plastic capsules exhibit significant surface scratching, scuffing, and abrasions across their faces (photos 1, 2, and 3). There is visible dust and lint trapped inside the capsules, particularly around the edges of the Battle of Britain round (photo 3). The silver rounds themselves appear to be in good condition with no visible signs of toning, tarnishing, or physical damage through the plastic.
