A UK commemorative £2 coin struck in nickel-brass to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the United Nations (UN50). The coin is housed in its original Royal Mint illustrated presentation folder. The reverse features the United Nations 50th Anniversary design by Michael Rizzello, while the obverse displays the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. This piece was issued as a single-metal nickel-brass coin with a milled edge.
Condition report:
Brilliant uncirculated. The reverse displays prominent brown toning and tarnish concentrated along the left edge from approximately the 7 to 10 o\'clock positions. The presentation folder is well-preserved with clear printed text and minimal handling wear.
