A 1984 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated one pound coin issued by the Royal Mint. The coin is composed of nickel-brass and features the Scottish thistle reverse design by Leslie Durbin. The piece is presented in its original card folder, which includes a photograph of a bagpiper in highland dress and the Royal Arms of Scotland with the motto Nemo me impune lacessit. The reverse of the coin is visible, inscribed with the denomination ONE POUND. The folder bears the text 1984 BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED SCOTTISH £1 COIN and the Royal Mint signature in cursive.
Condition report:
The coin remains in its original as-issued brilliant uncirculated condition, showing full mint lustre and no evidence of wear or handling marks. The card presentation folder is in good condition with minor signs of shelf wear and handling consistent with its age.
