A set of United Kingdom decimal proof coins issued by the Royal Mint in 1974. The collection contains cupro-nickel and bronze coins of various denominations, each featuring the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The reverse designs include seated Britannia, a crowned lion, a crowned thistle, the Prince of Wales feathers, a portcullis, and the Imperial Crown, with inscriptions reading NEW PENCE or NEW PENNY. Condition report:
Proof condition. The coins display high luster and sharp strikes with no visible toning or environmental damage. The outer cardboard sleeve shows minor shelf wear at the edges.
