Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
Issued by The Royal Mint, this set contains eight coins representing the first definitive series of the reign of King Charles III. The denominations comprise 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, and £2. The reverse designs focus on wildlife and conservation themes, featuring a hazel dormouse, red squirrel, oak leaf and acorns, capercaillie, puffin, Atlantic salmon, bees, and the combined floral emblems of the United Kingdom. The obverse of each coin displays the coinage portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The coins are struck in standard circulating alloys including copper-plated steel, nickel-plated steel, cupro-nickel, and bimetallic components. The set is housed in the original mint presentation packaging with the inscription THE ROYAL MINT THE ORIGINAL MAKER. This set represents the first definitive coinage series for the reign of King Charles III, featuring entirely new reverse designs.
Condition report:
Brilliant uncirculated. All coins retain full original mint lustre with no signs of circulation, handling, or environmental damage. The original presentation folder is in excellent condition with no visible wear.
