A 2020 UK Brilliant Uncirculated Annual Coin Set issued by The Royal Mint. The collection comprises thirteen coins including the complete definitive series from 1p to £2 featuring the Royal Shield reverse designs by Matthew Dent. The set includes five commemorative issues: a £5 coin for the 250th anniversary of George III (The Mind of a Monarch); three £2 coins commemorating the centenary of Agatha Christie (Aspects of Murder), the 75th anniversary of VE Day (Peace in Sight), and the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower voyage (New Horizons); and a 50p coin celebrating Team GB and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. All coins bear the fifth definitive obverse portrait of Elizabeth II by Jody Clark with the legend ELIZABETH II · D · G · REG · F · D and the 2020 date. Struck in various base metal alloys including cupro-nickel, nickel-brass, and copper-plated steel. The set is housed in its original illustrative folding presentation folder containing historical text and technical specifications for each coin.
