1990 United Kingdom Proof Coin Collection issued by the Royal Mint. The set comprises proof-quality strikes of the circulating denominations including a nickel-brass one pound coin, cupro-nickel fifty pence, twenty pence, and ten pence coins, two five pence coins representing both the large and small specifications, and bronze two pence and one penny coins. The collection also includes a square base-metal commemorative medallion inscribed Elizabeth R 1990 beneath a crown. Reverse designs feature standard motifs: Britannia, Leek in a Coronet, Crowned Tudor Rose, Crowned Lion, Crowned Thistle, Prince of Wales’ feathers, and Crowned Portcullis. All pieces exhibit a brilliant proof finish with mirrored fields and frosted devices. The set is housed in its original blue leatherette presentation folder featuring the Royal Mint crest in silver and includes the original information card.
Condition report:
Uncirculated proof condition. The coins display strong luster and clear detail with no visible evidence of handling. The presentation folder and information card exhibit minor signs of storage wear.
