The obverse features the Jubilee Head portrait of Queen Victoria facing left, designed by Joseph Edgar Boehm, with the Latin legend VICTORIA D:G: BRITT: REG: F:D: (Victoria, by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith). The reverse displays the Saint George and the Dragon motif designed by Benedetto Pistrucci, with the initials B.P. in the ground line above the date 1890. Struck in .925 sterling silver with a milled edge. The Jubilee Head portrait was introduced in 1887 to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Victoria’s reign.

Condition report:
Circulated condition. The coin shows moderate to heavy wear on high points, notably Victoria\'s crown and veil and the musculature of Saint George. The surfaces exhibit numerous contact marks, fine scratches, and an uneven dark grey patina with heavier toning around the legends and design recesses.
