Buyer's Premium:

Three UK sterling silver sixpence coins representing the three primary portrait types of Queen Victoria’s reign. The group includes an 1885 specimen with the Young Head obverse, an 1887 specimen with the Jubilee Head obverse, and an 1894 specimen featuring the Veiled Head or Old Head obverse. The obverse legends vary by type, including the 1894 addition of IND IMP. All three coins feature the standard reverse design of a crown above the denomination SIX PENCE within a tied wreath of oak and laurel. Each piece is struck in sterling silver with .925 fineness and features a milled edge.

Condition report:

Condition across the group varies. The 1885 Young Head specimen shows heavy circulation wear with significant loss of high-point detail and dark surface deposits on the obverse. The 1887 Jubilee Head and 1894 Veiled Head specimens show moderate wear consistent with general circulation, both displaying dark toning and some residual lustre in protected areas of the design. No evidence of professional cleaning or significant edge knocks is visible.
