Coins, Gold & Silver Bullion Auction
A 2017 silver bullion coin issued for the Somali Republic as part of the African Wildlife series. The obverse depicts an African elephant with its trunk raised in a savannah landscape featuring a palm tree and a traditional hut, inscribed with the text AFRICAN WILDLIFE, ELEPHANT, and the weight and fineness 1/4 OZ Ag 999.9. The reverse displays the coat of arms of the Somali Republic, including two leopards supporting a shield with a five-pointed star, inscribed SOMALI REPUBLIC, the date 2017, and the face value 25 SHILLINGS.

Condition report:
The coin shows minor surface handling marks and small scratches consistent with light wear. There are visible milk spots on the obverse field and rim, notably near the E in WILDLIFE. Faint hazy toning is present on the reverse fields.
