A mid-20th-century Regency reproduction mahogany-toned wood nest of tables. The set comprises a primary circular coffee table and four independent quadrant-shaped nesting tables designed to slot into the main frame. The tops of all tables are inset with green leatherette panels featuring gilt-tooled scrolling foliate borders. The main table includes a central circular gilt motif and is fitted with a removable protective glass top. The nesting tables feature a two-tier construction with a lower shelf displaying figured wood veneers. All components are supported by tapered, fluted legs with turned collars and feet.
Condition report:
The green leatherette top of the main coffee table shows significant staining and dark discoloration patches. There is general surface wear across the set, including minor scuffs and scratches to the wooden frames and the glass top. The gilt-tooling shows signs of fading in several places. The set is structurally sound.
