A pair of oak drop-leaf occasional tables executed in the Tudor-revival style. Each table comprises a rectangular central top flanked by two rounded drop-leaves. The supporting base features four baluster-turned legs connected by a low box stretcher with a repeating carved thumb-cut decorative motif. The wood is finished in a dark stain. Modern construction elements are visible, including Phillips-head screws and wing-nut fasteners.
Condition report:
The tables are in good used condition. Visible wear includes surface scratches, scuffs, and minor indentations to the table tops. The dark stain is rubbed and worn on the edges of the leaves and the upper portions of the legs, showing the lighter timber beneath. One hinge shows minor superficial corrosion and loss of finish. Both tables are structurally sound.
