This tripod occasional table is constructed from a reddish-brown hardwood displaying a prominent ribbon grain under a high-gloss lacquer finish. The circular top features a decoratively carved rope-twist border. The table is supported by a tripod base consisting of three flat-profile, C-scroll legs terminating in shaped feet, with a small circular lower shelf mounted between the legs for stability. The underside of the top surface bears a stamped mark in the shape of a hand containing faint characters, alongside a secondary illegible circular mark.
Condition report:
The table is in good overall condition. The high-gloss finish shows light surface scratches and minor scuffs consistent with use, particularly visible on the top surface. There is a hand-shaped stamp and some residue on the underside of the top. Typical light wear and scuffing are present on the base of the feet.
