A set of four silver-plated cordial cups or small wine goblets. Each vessel features a trumpet-shaped bowl decorated with hand-engraved foliate and floral sprays, centred by a vacant circular cartouche. The bowls are raised on slender stems with a central knop, standing on circular spreading feet. The cups are housed in a fitted presentation box with a blue velvet-lined base and a blue satin-lined lid. No hallmarks or maker marks are visible. The style and decoration are consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century silver-plated metalware.
Condition report:
The set is in fair condition with visible surface tarnishing and light wear to the silver plating throughout. The presentation case shows signs of age, including scuffing to the exterior and wear to the interior fabric lining, particularly around the hinges and the base of the cups.
