A Moorcroft art pottery vase of ovoid form, decorated in the Hibiscus pattern. The piece features large, stylised hibiscus flowers executed using the tubelining technique and hand-painted in shades of coral, orange, and pink with dark green leaves, all set against a cream-coloured ground. The interior of the vase is finished in a pale yellow glaze. The base bears the impressed marks MOORCROFT and MADE IN ENGLAND, accompanied by a hand-painted green monogram associated with Walter Moorcroft.

Condition report:
The vase is in good overall condition. Fine, uniform crazing is visible in the glaze across the body, which is a characteristic of Moorcroft pottery from this period. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of professional restoration. A small auction house label with the number 687 is adhered to the base.
