The obverse depicts a colour-printed portrait of the character Thomas Shelby set against an industrial Birmingham skyline, with the text BY ORDER OF THE PEAKY BLINDERS. The reverse is struck in high relief and features a flat cap positioned over crossed straight razors, framed by a laurel wreath. Inscriptions include PEAKY BLINDERS, the initials PB, and a banner reading BIRMINGHAM 1919. The piece is struck in .999 fine copper and is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule. The Peaky Blinders were an actual urban street gang based in Birmingham, England, that operated from the late 19th century into the early 20th century.
