A glazed earthenware jug of bulbous, globular form, featuring a wide, flared neck with a blue-rimmed lip and a small strap handle attached to the shoulder. The vessel is decorated with a bold, hand-painted pattern of broad vertical stripes in a rich cobalt blue against a white ground. The brushwork within the blue stripes is clearly visible, indicating hand-applied decoration. The interior of the neck and the handle are finished in a matching blue glaze. No factory marks or signatures are visible in the provided images.
