A hand-blown art glass bowl of rounded form. The clear glass upper body transitions into a base decorated with broad, translucent pink swirling bands. Centred in the interior base is an encased lampwork floral inclusion, depicting a multi-petaled flower in shades of white and pale blue with a concentrated deep blue centre. The design and inclusion technique are characteristic of the floral glassware produced by the British studio Caithness. No maker’s marks, etched signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The bowl is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There is light surface dust and minor shelf wear to the base consistent with age.
