A 1997 United States American Silver Eagle one dollar bullion coin. The piece is composed of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1997. The reverse carries the heraldic eagle design and includes the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR. No mint mark is present on the reverse, consistent with bullion strikes for this year. The coin is presented in a circular clear plastic protective capsule.

Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated condition, retaining full bright mint luster. There is distinct yellowish-brown peripheral toning along the rims on both the obverse and reverse. No significant surface abrasions or contact marks are noted.
