A collection of seven promotional plush toys produced for Yakov’s Toy Shop in association with comparethemeerkat.com. The characters included are Aleksandr Orlov, Sergei, Maiya, Oleg, Bogdan, Vassily, and a Prisoner Meerkat. The figures are constructed from plush fabric with plastic eyes and dressed in various fabric and plastic accessories. Aleksandr is depicted in a maroon velvet-style dressing gown with an embroidered A and a yellow paisley cravat. Sergei wears a black leather-look jacket with a V emblem on a blue shirt. Maiya is dressed in a green button-down cardigan, a grey skirt, and black-rimmed spectacles. Oleg is shown in patterned pyjamas, lying in a blue bed-style display box with an accompanying plush grub toy. Bogdan is depicted in a blue school vest with a yellow crest and white shirt. Vassily wears a brown waistcoat over a white shirt with a red tie and spectacles. The Prisoner Meerkat wears a black and white horizontal striped outfit. All seven items are presented in their original character-specific cardboard display boxes. The lot includes various pieces of original ephemera, including Meerkovo passports, Safari booklets, and certificates of authenticity. The boxes bear printed Yakov’s Toy Shop branding within red and gold banners.

Condition report:
The collection appears to be in very good overall condition. The plush toys are well-preserved with clean fabrics and intact accessories. The original packaging exhibits some light shelf wear, including minor scuffing and creasing to the cardboard edges and corners consistent with age and storage.
