A trio of brass objects including a matched pair of candlesticks and a small circular weight. The candlesticks feature multi-knopped baluster stems, circular sconces with narrow drip rims, and are mounted on stepped hexagonal bases. The accompanying item is a small circular brass weight or lid with a flared, domed base and a rounded finial handle. The pieces are cast and turned, showing no visible maker’s marks, inscriptions, or stamps on the exterior surfaces. The style is consistent with traditional English metalware production from the late 18th to the 19th century.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition with a polished finish. There are minor surface scratches, light oxidation, and small spots of tarnish consistent with age and domestic use.
