This decorative lot consists of a glazed ceramic model of a heavy horse in the style of Beswick, finished in a brown gloss glaze with white feathered legs and a white blaze. The horse is equipped with a synthetic leather harness and metal chains, harnessed to a handmade two-wheeled wooden cart. The cart features slatted sides and functional spoked wheels. The cargo comprises an assortment of items including a painted resin figurine of a boy in blue dungarees seated on straw bales, several dog figurines of varying breeds, a white goose figurine, and two miniature woven straw hats. The cart is also filled with numerous brown spherical decorative elements accented with green, possibly intended to represent seed pods or fruit. No visible maker’s marks are present on the ceramic horse or the wooden cart structure.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with visible dust accumulation across all surfaces. There are minor instances of paint wear and rough finishing on the boy figurine and other small figures. The synthetic harness is currently loose and requires adjustment. The cargo is loosely packed and exhibits some movement.
