Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises a 1985 United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection issued by the Royal Mint. The set is presented in its original red card folder. The collection consists of seven coins: fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence, one penny, and a one pound coin. The reverse designs include Britannia (50p), a crowned Tudor rose (20p), a crowned lion passant guardant (10p), a crowned thistle (5p), the Prince of Wales’s feathers (2p), and a crowned portcullis (1p). The one pound coin features the Welsh design of a leek within a royal coronet. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel, nickel-brass, and bronze. The obverse of each coin features the third circulating coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The presentation folder displays a circular cover illustration of a Yeoman Warder in front of the White Tower at the Tower of London.

Condition report:

The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition, exhibiting original mint lustre. Minor surface toning and spotting are visible on several pieces, notably the bronze and nickel-brass denominations. The red presentation folder shows minor wear at the edges and corners but remains structurally sound.
