A United Kingdom five pound commemorative coin, known as the Centenary Crown, issued by the Royal Mint in 2000. This piece was produced to mark the 100th birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The coin is presented in its original maroon-coloured illustrated folder. The reverse features a portrait of the Queen Mother with the inscriptions QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER, the dates 1900-2000, and the denomination FIVE POUNDS. A facsimile signature Elizabeth R is located below the portrait. Both the obverse and reverse designs were created by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin appears to be in brilliant uncirculated condition. The illustrated folder exhibits minor shelf wear and light creasing to the edges and corners consistent with handling.
